In this course we are going to design and print three different designs.

• Desk Clip - A simple and easily printable desk clip to help organize cables out of view
• Cell Phone Stand/Amp - A more advanced design for no-support 3D printing to hold a cell phone and amplify it's speaker. We will look at making a basic shape with speaker location based on a Samsung Galaxy S23.
• Toy Car Launcher - A 3D printed assembly of parts looking at how to design a mechanism and break it up so its easy to print.

We will be exploring some absolute basic concepts like common materials, build orientations, and overhangs and figure out how to apply those techniques while designing our parts.

We will be using a Creality Ender printer, but any desktop FDM should be just fine. The parts are small enough to work with nearly all 3D Printers. We will do an overview on how to use Fusion 360 as the slicer, but suggest using whatever slicer comes with your printer to make better use of common presets.

Make sure before printing any parts that you are familiar with your printer, the material you are using, and how to use your slicer if its different than Creality or Fusion 360. The Creality slicer is based on the Cura slicer so unless you are using advanced options, default settings should be ok.
