The Absolute Beginners Guide to Assemblies with Fusion is a course for new to CAD or new to Fusion users trying to get a better understanding of how assemblies work in Fusion , how to add joints for motion, and some of the downstream workflows like animations and drawings for assemblies. We have updated the content to include Intent Driven Design which was added in January 2026 with another 2hrs of new video.

This course will walk you through the basics of assemblies with over 2 hours of video looking at some basic examples to identify the design implications of bodies vs. components, intent driven design decisions and move into more advanced workflows while assembling an airplane rotary engine and flight pedals.

If you are struggling with some of the basic concepts of assemblies in Fusion or just would like a little more practice then this course should be a great fit.
